After saying goodbye the first time with so much pain and deciding to return to her with the best intentions in the world, it wasn't possible. A new drama destroyed the fragile peace that, in the first few days, had been a microclimate of love and tenderness once again, as if nothing had happened. Then the final farewell came, for my own well-being, but with much pain and still much personal growth ahead. There was much to do. Why could I continue to love so much and accept a being with all that toxicity and the damage it had done to me? Well, the answers and relief would come little by little, over time. Behind me, only more victims remained to arrive, and when I turned around, a trail of corpses and undead, once in love, just like me.
Note: As you can see in the images, this work uses paste medium to create a fantasy with certain reliefs and textures. The paste and paint were intentionally used simultaneously on the canvas, without prior mixing. The subsequent drying stage was intentionally skipped, so that cracks would appear in the middle of the color explosions due to contraction (cracking of the clay). These fractures reflect my feelings when I was discarded, amidst a maelstrom of conflicting emotions: love, pain, sadness, anger, nostalgia, melancholy, frustration, resentment, and obsession with the moments of happiness and euphoria that had made me feel so alive.
