But everything comes, and everything passes. Time heals all. Understanding, compassion, forgiveness, peace, and good feelings returned to my life, leaving behind all those negative feelings and bad experiences. I kept the good and the lessons learned. I returned to the center of my life, regaining control of my emotions, my peace, and how everything was before I met her, but now, much stronger. Even with work ahead of me, I decided to consider returning voluntarily, in my own way, with mental strength, emotional independence, responsibility, and self-awareness about what I would find when I returned. Everything remained the same; she wasn't going to change; only I could do that, and it was in my hands to control my own emotions, how to react, and to not let anyone destabilize my peace, which was so difficult to recover. I became a phoenix reborn from its own ashes, and I also became the seeds that grew after scorching the ground with my own flames.
